Turn signals gone: now back ..but still no brake lights ?? 200 1992

I searched a bit here but am not sure what I should look for. Be neat if there was a 240 FAQ! :)

Coming home tonight...turn signals quit. Got home ...no brake lights also. Checked the fuse, was good. Put it back in - now turn signals work - still no brake lights. Back up lights working. Just do not know how all these may tie together.

Brake relay? Need to know location if that is the next step.

The only thing I have done of late is this morning it would not crank, and I pulled and cleaned a few connections in the battery area ...wet from a lot of rain. Also removed the Bosch ignition module; cleaned the plate on the back and used some elec. grease to make sure for a good connection there. After that she started.

Thanks for any and all input ..
