LH 2.0 Running a Little Rich... Thoughts? 200

1984 245 with the AW70. My problem is rich running and poor gas milage. Otherwise the car runs fine and has decent power for an old Volvo. I am averaging 18-19 mpg in mixed driving including a few 10-20 mile jogs on the freeway at 65-70 mph and when I pulled the plugs yesterday to do a compression test and they were rather black. On my last plug check when I installed the knock sensor, they were light tan; perfect. On a good note compression was good and even (#1:95/195, #2:95/195, #3: 95/195, #4: 100/200 psi). Here's a list of everything I have recently replaced:

Checked K$N Air filter: Clean and Clear
Replaced Coil (October 09)
Replaced Knock Sensor (September 2009)
New AMM (August 09)
New Spark Plugs (september 09)
New O2 Sensor (Septmeber 09; replaced after successful HG change)
Replaced head gasket and related gaskets including intake (August 09)
Replaced FPR (293 unit as opposed to the 213 unit it replaced; May 09)
Replaced Idle Air Motor with factory rebuilt unit from PnP (July 2009)
Had Catalytic Converter Replaced (Midas; June 09)
Replaced Cap, Rotor and Wires (June 09)
Replaced Both Fuel Pumps: Main and Tank (March 09)
Replaced both Fuel Filters: Main and Tank Sock (March 09)
Replaced Brake Booster Check Valve and Hose (February 09)
Replaced FI Temp Sender (January 09, checked six weeks ago, spot on)
Replaced Engine Wiring Harness (January 09)

In addition, over the summer of '08, I have also replaced the following:

Injector Seals
AMM to TB hose
All vaccuum lines
New Mufflers (Midas again)
Relocated and replaced the Flame Trap with the Ipd kit

As far as I know I do not have any vaccuum leaks or fuel leaks. My thoughts are: 1) The incorrect FPR is the culprit. Wrong unit is allowing too much fuel. Does anyone have graphs/curves to compare the two FPRs? 2)My new O2 sensor has died. It seems implausible as it is relavitely new and the car runs fine, it just has poor gas mileage. I remember testing it after installation and it cycled properly. 3) Winter gas. It is that time of the year after all... 4) Failed ECU. Least likely, but possible. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Any help would be appriciated,
Nick
