Turn signals gone: now back ..but still no brake lights ?? 200 1992

The click in the console is the shift lock solenoid. Hearing that, and being able to take it out of park without using the yellow release lever, confirms your fuse 7 and the brake pedal switch is OK.

When you hear that clicking, look back for the reflection of the high-mounted brake light. If it is still not coming on (sometimes these things are intermittent) there's a fairly good chance you do indeed have trouble with the bulb failure warning sensor.

To reach yours, you have to remove the knee bolster. Mine is held in with T30 torx bolts. Then, just above the felt, reach in and find a can-shaped relay.

Verify by jumping the brake light signal between the blu/red and blu/black wires to see if you can now light them up. Ignore the wire colors and pins in the photo - they are for tracking a tail light problem.

Thanks for passing along that clue!
