Regina Oxygen Sensor / Steering Rack Lines 700 1992

Is there a "universal fit" O2 sensor available for Regina cars? My car is currently equipped with a replacement O2 sensor spliced into the original sensor cable ( not installed by me ) I wonder if there are more makes and models of cars that have an O2 that functions like the Regina one. I thought I heard that they function like a resistor that varies with exhaust content, not like one that actually generates a voltage. Getting a 221 code after replacing the cat to header bolts. I hope it's just the miniscule leak from the donut ( about to be replaced) But if that sensor should not be in there I want to replace it.

Also, I need to replace my rack and pinion lines, not the pressure and return but the short ones mounted on the rack. Are they just standard 1/4" line with a double flare on the ends? If thats the case I plan to reuse the ends and double flare them myself.

Thank you to all for any help provided
