this jig uses the nut as a stop

this jig only works if the bolt is broken off inside the head. i made one if the bolt is broken of outside the head by taking 3 nuts and tack welding them together and then threading the nut onto whats left of the stud.

since no real force is applied to the jig for the purpose of centering a drill bit it works well enough for me.
