Power door locks dilema... 200 1989

'89 245, that has been having the stretched or *hyperextended* door handle disease for quite some time on my driver's side door. Bad enough now that I practically have to pull the handle all the way out to open door. I actually planned on finally fixing it this weekend.

Today, I insert the key into the driver door to open locks. All locks opened up with the turn of the key EXCEPT the driver door lock. Key won't turn all the way to open the driver door, but i can move it enough to open all three other locks. I can turn it and it will close the other three door locks.

Anyone know the issue with this? Is it related to the hyperextended door handle problem? What might I plan to get at the bone yard (if anything?) so I can fix both the door handle and the driver lock not opening with key?

thanks in advance!
Jason
