sara rose foodbank needs advice about a 745 volvo 700

we are asking for help and advice about a 1991 745 automatic regina volvo. we have been using 245 volvo untill they died after 250k miles +++ on them. so, here is my problem.i bought a very cheap dead 745 volvo which not knowing about the regina system being so costly. setting still- i can give the volvo fast idle up to 3000 rpm without any hesitation. however, driving the acceleration is ever slow to pick up- like a pig- a 140 auto with a bw t35 can leaave the 745 in the dust. the next problem is the tranny shift out slowly. this 745 volvo has been setting dead for 3 years-i cleaned out the flame trap-new fuel filter-ck the fuel pump-new plugs-the regina mass air meter-good fuel- great body and being an old volvo person- i just cant let it go and start over with something else. i know i have ask alot of questions to brickboard and i want to thank everybody that have helped- the sara rose has been delivering food to cancer people for 11 1/2 years- thanks again, kim
