ac belt replacement 200 1993

Hi - I am replacing the accessory belts on my 240, and can't seem to get the pulley to A.C. belt on. I loosened the 13mm bolt connected to the adjusting screw, and the 15mm bolt on the other side. The adjusting screw will turn, but there isn't enough give with the air condituiber to allow me to slip the belt on. Is there any other bolts that need to be loosened or removed? Am I missing something?
