Keyless entry 200 1990

On locking/unlocking the trunk seperately it was wishfull hoping on my part. The real problem is I can open and close the doors but only with the remote. The knob does nothing and the key does nothing.Even with the key it is hard to turn the cylinder to get the driver door unlocked.Kind of scary too beacuse just the other day the battery on the remote went dead.I was lucky enough to not only find a place that had the small battery but I also just happened to have a tiny screwdriver in my pocket to open the remote.Needless to say I was nowhere near where I live.Got in the car and went straight home.
