Small hole in Header - suggestions needed 200

I have a small hole in the header about 6 inches from the flange to the converter. The metal around the hole is solid. (It seems like the hole may have been from where the heat shield attached) I read in the FAQ that exhaust putty worked into wad of fire proof material held in place by a couple of good hose clamps may be a good temporary solution. What would be a good fireproof material to use and where would I get it?

Thanks for the help (again)

Mark
