940 Drivers Door Issue 900

I am trying to help my friend with an issue on his 940. For some reason the drivers side door seems to be "sprung". It resists shutting about 2" from the latch and you have to slam it. The car is in good shape and it started suddenly. I looked at the hinges and the latch and nothing looked like it had moved. If I have to guess it looked like the window frame at the front pillar was hitting early but that is only a guess. He does not think anything unusual has happened to it.

Anyone have an idea?

Thanks,
Hawkeye
