New Reman Power Steering Pump - Leak? 700 1990

Just installed a reman steering rack and reman power steering pump. After staring the engine, it appeared that fluid was leaking from the metal nipple screw in connection to the pump (after market hose was used). Reconnected the hose to the pump body, but it still appears that fluid is being pushed out the back of the power steering pump body and not the nipple metal connetion to the pump itself. It does not appear to be loosing fluid from the rubber curved hose to the top of the pump. I may attempt installing the original hose to the pump to see if that helps. I believe that the force of the pump wheel may be pushing fluid to the back of the pump and is dripping. Not sure if anyone else has experenced this?

Thanks

Michael
