Reverse backup lights fixed ... finally 200 1993

The inside of the pocket where the switch sits gets a mite warm it seems to me. I am going to open my 86's pocket up and see what kind of heat shield can be fitted in there. Thinking that some left over reflectix stuck to the sides of the pocket will stop some of the heat from reaching my new switch.

That intermittent no start caused by the Neutral Safety section of that same switch was a PITA. The replacement switch is most likely not as rugged as the Volvo switch was so hoping that keeping it cooler will help extend it's life some.

Glad you found it,

Regards,

Paul
