Countdown to West coast roadtrip-2 weeks 140-160

The '67 144 is supposed to be back from Phil Singher soon with a rebuilt engine. My plan is to drive from Seattle to Orange County, CA, with stops in Paso Robles (wine), the greater Gorman/Lebec/Frasier Park metro area (brother) and Eagle Rock (brother) over the Christmas break. (I'm a teacher.)

I remember reading a few other road trip threads on RWD and enjoying them a lot; working on these cars is fine, but getting them out on the road is what does it for me.

Obstacles: I want to put 500 miles on it before the trip, so Phil can do the first oil change and check things out.

Are there good Volvo mechanics in the middle of this trip--Meford, Redding? I know there will be plenty in Portland, the Bay Area, and LA.

John
