My love of 10 yrs a 92 940T crapped out, looking @ C70 Turbo Convertable

My baby finally bit the dust. First a mysterious battery drain, which I had our local independant Volvo Garage look @ numerous times could not be diagnosed, then the transmission went. So it's spend 2K for a tranny and 1400 for a wiring harness or find a new car. A shame, I just redid the whole interior with black leather and put a new muffler on, new CD stero, etc,, what a shame

Anyway, looking @ a 2000 C70 Turbo convertible and wondering the reliablilty factor, (realizing it's not a RWD beast) but just curious as to the general consensus on this site, as I am a 940/240 fan and am clueless about the new models.
