wiper arm-motorr cover 200

the TAB project will have to wait because purchasing all these tools that none of my friends seem to have is counterproductive to my wagon-hobo lifestyle. so i'm going to continue to defend the SS Blue Meanie against the rain.

i notice that a friend's 89 wagon has wipers which are neatly covered when they protrude from the hood, and no water can leak in besides that which flows along the hood and underneath the seal. yet mine (86 wagon) has crudely exposed bolts and nuts which open to the elements, and no caps or anything, and water can and does leak in thru these small openings.

can the 86 have the 89's style of wipers to eliminate the leak? is it an easy switch or does it require entering thru the inside of the vehicle? or are there mods which can just attach to the wiper covers?

thanks for your advice!
