thought that iI would just pass this on I have a 1974 145 and the heater motor went out instead of pulling the whole heater box out I got a dremel; sliced a nice clean whole in the sides of the box on both sides and could pull the motor out pretty easy just get a piece of plastic and patch your hole worked good for me should work on the 240 series also
