I read a post on here from 2008 where a person said that in Seattle there was a shop who rebuilt these. He hasn't posted anything since last year but I may try harder to find him and ask him who does this. Or maybe somebody on here knows of the shop in Seattle that rebuilds steering boxes. Or anywhere.

Collecting information at this point. All urls and ideas are welcome, and thank you all for helping. I keep thinking this is more fun than it ought to be.
