throttle position switch functionality 200 1993

So the IAC becomes active when the TPS says the throttle is closed and the IAC opens to increase idle and closes to decrease idle depending on the feedback from the CPS? The o2 sensor sees this increase or decrease in air flow as a rich or lean and the ecu compensates by increasing or decreasing the idle preset injector on-times. Then as soon as the CPS indicates the throttle is open, the IAC closes and air flow is measured by the AMM, injector on-time is calculated and again compensated by the o2 sensor output.

Am I getting it?

Ron
