throttle position switch functionality 200 1993

I've had my head stuck under the hood of my 940 so much lately, I'm probably having a brain lapse - no the car in question is a 93 240 with LH2.4 an AMM and a small coil.

Your explanation of the workings certainly sound logical, thereby eliminating a slightly out of adjustment TPS as a possible cause of the hickup at low throttle - the air is getting measured either way and put into the algorithm for injector pulse.
