Very cool that you still are noticeably amped up about getting her going again - press on!

Sorry if I missed this, but is the smoke only when you lift off or is more constant than that?

If it is constant but not too bad it may well be, as Matt posted above, that she just needs to be run-in a bit. I had a Bugeye that sat for 15 years that could have doubled as a PT in WWII running a smoke screen, after about several MMO and being run a bit the rings seated and no more smoke.
