Anyone ever had coolant leak from frost plugs? 200 1990

Experienced overheating this past week. Cold air through vents (when set at full heat). Check Engine Light came on when wife was driving. I pulled a warning for a faulty coolant temp. sensor from both #2 and #6 sockets-which I thought was the main culprit. I reset the OBD and after a few days I noticed...No coolant in the tank!

I check fluids frequently and everything was good shortly before this happened. Took it to a mechanic as I thought I had a blown head gasket due to the underside of the oil filler cap having a milky white substance. They did a pressure test and coolant was coming from a couple of the frost plugs.

Anyone ever have to deal with this issue?
