Tips on replacing front seatbelts? 700 1990

Our nice but young and still somewhat clueless dog chewed the upper portion of both front seatbelts in our '90 740, not much but enough that I'm leery about them doing the job if really challenged.

I've ordered replacement assemblies from Voluparts, added the charges to the dog's tab.

Looking in the faq and searching the board, I don't find any specific information on r/r of these. Has anybody else done so, or know of a place I can look for information? I see there was a recall for re-routing of a portion of the belt on a few hundred 740 samples so it seems there's at least one way to screw it up.

Any tips much appreciated.
