Head bolts 140-160

You can't buy off the shelf bolts & use them for head bolts, so you are left with either buying a stud kit from VPD or cleaning up the old bolts. If you use the old bolts, make sure they go in & out of the head smoothly, use a little engine oil on the threads & under the head of the bolt & I like to use some hardened washers as well, like the factory did for competition engines. I've never had a problem with stock bolts & always use the old ones (although I am extremely stingy), but don't let that stop you buying a stud kit.
