164 Tensioner Pulley missing Bearings 140-160

I have one of those among my parts--I looked at it to see how it's assembled--the bearing in mine is rough. You need to remove the snap ring that's visible in your photo--that will allow you to press/smack the pulley/bearing off the shaft/bracket. The bearing is secured in the pulley by another snap ring--on the back side (that's probably the bent clip you mentioned). With that second snap ring removed you should be able to press/smack the bearing out of the pulley. If the numbers are not readable bring the works to a bearing supplier--they should be able to match it by the dimensions. I'd figure about $10 for the bearing. -- Dave
