I'm confused... 900 1993

Ron,
Please elaborate on this "black wire". It sounds nothing like the one I described as connecting to the front Fuel Rail bracket, and coming straight from the 3-pin plug on the power stage module.

I haven't looked at my 940 yet, but the green book wiring only shows one (multi-tap) ground point (31/2) behind the left headlight. It lists several possible ground connections there, but none are ignition related.

Glad you're running good now, but don't believe I actually helped fix anything thing for you.
