Towing Auto vs. 5 Speed 200

I have an opportunity to buy a new draw tite hitch for a 245. I actually have two of these, an 88 automatic and a 90 5 speed. I plan to tow a light aluminum boat with a mercury 35. I doubt the whole thing weighs 1000 lbs and the tongue weight is about 50 lbs.

Question is, which do you all think is the better vehicle to mount the hitch on the automatic or the 5 speed?
