Does Intake manifold crack ever? 200 1988

Traced a vacumleak to the intake manifold gasket and replaced it. When it was ofF I found gasoline in the manifold and throttle body ( this is not my "real" problem but could may give some leads), vacuum hose from FPR seemed dry and later when I checked fuel pressure it seemed fine to. Anyways, when I put everything back together the vacuum leak is still there in between the 2nd and 3rd injector. The surfaces on the head and manifold was undamaged. Coul;d there be a crack in the manifold?
