I picked up the alternator bracket at the Ipd garage sale last year. I don't remember who I got it from, but there were several more there.

It's a LOT stronger than the then bracket I originally had, and it does a better job of holding the alternator straight.

I have no idea if it is an aftermarket part, or if Volvo supplied them on some models.

It was certainly worth the $5 I paid for it.
