Wagon trailer modification question 200

So, if i was to equip my 1989 DL wagon (manual) for a trailer hitch, what would i need to do to get it ready?.. Not sure if there were different diameter driveshafts for that year, but I remember being told I have the smaller one... would i need to change that? How about shocks and springs?.. Willing to do anything short of a turbo.. : P Not sure what I'd be towing yet, but farm life might be in it's future.. not as a manure spreader, but an all-around hauler. any help and advice would be appreciated.
