Let me 1st say someone paid $57 plus $5 shipping for the NOS relay on eBay. This was for a stock 1800 "tin can" type as described in one response. I can't compete with that, some people just get nuts!
Ron thanks for your response and all the others as well. I am planning on using the column mounted, stock OD dipper switch. I prefer it as my other Amazon is set up this way and I am too old to learn new tricks.I might add that to engage the OD on that car I pull the lever down and leave it stays there. To disengage I simply raise that same lever (I do smooth out the transition by stepping on the clutch). Also, I am going to add a green "pilot" light to both cars, as well, in what is the original dash location, as according to an old brochure I have on OD in the Amazons.
The problem asking for a 3 or 4 terminal relay was that there wasn't an application to go along with that.
I'm putting in an alternator, so there should be ample power, but That's pretty interesting.
Please explain "unwanted reactivation" does that mean the OD will engage whenever it feels the urge? I am sure I don't want that to happen.
