Rear defrost won't turn off 200 1985

I turned on my rear defrost a couple of days ago, and now it won't turn off. I've never understood why it has a momentary switch instead of a toggle, anyway. The indicator light is on, but I'm not sure if the defrost is still on or not, as there's been no -frost to de-. Last I saw it work, only half of the wires were warming up and working, but it did a good enough job. I pulled fuse #11 and replaced it thinking it might reset it, but it didn't. As I recall, it stayed on until the car was turned off, but now it is on when the car is cranked.

How do I get this thing to turn off?
