I really (x10) luv My Volvo (PIC INSIDE!!!) 200 1982

This thing just fixes itself! I had a previous problem (http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/edit.htm?id=1371285) And it kinda just went away. Now I just crank the engine and it starts with no low idle or sputtering. I do give it the slightest bit of gas but i think that is mostly a habit LOL. When it's super cold, in the teens, I would have to crank it twice, but after Charlene gets going... oh boy!

She's 28 years old with 224K miles, been cross country 3 times (the time I used it we towed a trailer that weighed about 1250lbs and not a single over heating problem). She's driven during the week for 140 miles for my 9 to 5 and on the weekends for 320 miles for my weekend job as a snowboard instructor. A total of 460 weekly. Is that too much you think?

The only problem that concerns me now is on my long trips during the weekend, maybe once or twice, it seems that the OD disengages and then reengages in the span of a second of two. It happened more frequently a couple weeks ago and I thought that the problem went away! But now it happens infrequently. Any ideas on what it could be?

Now a little confession, this problem started after I hit the OD button without pushing in the clutch. Do you think this could have caused it? Like I said before I really <3 my car and want to keep her as long as possible.

Check out the pic!
