trans. and power change 200 1992

i wanted to see what can be the reason for the auto. trans., to give some background the trans. was completly rebuilt 4 years ago by the previous owner. the trans has worked with out any problems until lately. after new years day i changed the trans fluid. there was no change or difference in the way the trans operated for several weeks. then there were several changes in the trans. which has not ended and makes the volvo not really usably. the trans does not shift correctly it doesnt skift well, the trans stays in gear longer and at high rpm before it will shift. the trans used to shift with hardley any noise or feeling of the trans shifting. has anyone seen this situation and can help me. thanks to anyone who can share their info. rich
