Trans tunnel question? 120-130

This actually has nothing to do with 122's but since nobody over in the 140 section could answer me, I'm asking in the 122 forum. So hopefully someone can shed light on this for me.

A month ago when I cut up my wrecked 71 142e with the long style shifter and M41, I cut the trans tunnel out and kept it. My question is, is the tunnel sheetmetal on the 142 wider than the tunnel in the 122?

If it's wide enough to put a T5 under I will keep it till either I need it or someone else does, other wise It's taking up room and I'm going to scrap it. Just to clarify, no I'm not thinking of a T5 swap nor do I need any info on the T5 conversion at this time. I'm just hoping someone can tell me if it's worth hanging onto, because if it's not I don't need it taking up space in the garage.

Thanks for any help!
