lh 3.1 puzzle - anyone convert to lh2.4? 200 1991

First, you have the wrong throttle body and probably a throttle position switch rather than a throttle position sensor. Unfortunately, both use the same three pin connector, to make matters worse, the shaft length of the LH2.4 and LH3.1 throttle bodies are different so you can NOT just swap the TPS. In short, you need to install a complete LH3.1 throttle body. I know this because I spent countless hours mirror polishing an LH2.4 throttle body for use on an LH3.1 engine... in short, that was a wasted countless number of hours, it's a pretty paper weight though!

Just like on an LH2.4 car, if you unplug the AMM with the car turned off and start it and it runs better, its time for a new AMM, assuming that you have an LH3.1 TB and TPS! NOTE: If you plug an LH2.4 TPS into the LH3.1 system, it will throw a code immediately but will not light up the check engine light.
