Seized thermostat housing nut

Thanks for the suggestions. I had tried to tighten the nut as well as loosen it during all the attempts but no joy.

The car is tucked away in storage for the winter months and when the weather breaks I'll work at it again.

I don't know why the fastners at this particular location have the inclination to seize. I wonder if the aluminum housing and/or the coolant adds a factor to the commonly found corrosion? I do know that antiseize compound is my friend
