940T heater gurgling 900

My '94 940T is making what I would describe as a gurgling or trickling sound from inside the dash when the heater is on. This is new-I've had the car 12 years. Started about a month ago. No visible leak or smell of coolant inside the car. There is a small coolant leak from the thermostat housing-has been there for over ayear. Only losing a cup of coolant a month. The heater still works well, as it always has. Any ideas out there?

sredwine The car has 237K-our freshly acquired 965 has 154K
