look into everything everyone else has mentioned and then consider this. My B18 with new core in the rad, electronic ignition, rebuilt block etc....gets a little hot in stop and go traffic after a hard run. I usually just raise the rpms a little and it goes away. My feeling has always been that this is a coolant circulation problem and the higher revs moves the fluid
