HID Conversion vs E codes 200

I also thought about e-codes, but not HID. I wound up replacing my original headlight assemblies with all new OEM Volvo/Cibie plastic. Also did an upgrade with relay controlled wiring (Rally Lights). The lighting is better than new, obviously. I'm happy with it.

Have you seen the prices of the real Volvo e-codes? They are out of sight. I seem to recall over $500 from a German distributor.

It's not just Volvo. All plastic lenses degrade over time. I also just replaced the ones on my '93 Ford Crown Vic. I think it's to be expected that you will have to replace plastic lenses every 10 or 20 years, depending on how they have been maintained.

Whatever you decide please follow up with description. We could all benefit.
