00 or 000 bronze wool works, but it is a slow process. Be sure to rehydrate youself as necessary as you go. The factory pieces did not have a high polish on them. Another alternative would be to get them powdercoated. You'll have a finish that will last until the next time someone backs into your grille with a trailer hitch. Please don't ask me how I know this. :)
