245 power door lock activator. 200 1989

I have a power door lock activator going bad in my '89 245. The rubber seal on the shaft has gone bad and the insides got wet. I tried some simple grease but it it still too weak to open the lock. It locks it fine.

Is this something that I might safely get at the pull-a-part, or should I bite the bullet and spend 80-100 to get a new OEM?

Thanks all.

D.
