Heater blower not working at lower speeds 200 1993

Hi,

I am new here and this is my first post. I have a 1993 Volvo 245 Classic 5-speed. I have had the car for about 6 months and it runs great and has been well taken care of.

When I purchased the car the blower motor worked, but only on speeds 3 and 4. Nothing at speeds 1 and 2. I have been living with it but if it is not too horrible to take on, I'd like to fix it. So, is it likely to be the switch or the resistor?? And how tough is the fix? I bought the car to work on myself but don't have a huge amount of experience.

Thanks for any advice.
