Paint color? decisions,decisions! 120-130

Hi and thanx to all your helpful suggestions!!! I have another request! I just took her in Saturday morning to have some rust taken care of on the floor boards and under the hood. Also after having this car in my posession for close to 3 yrs finally can afford some work and paint job for the ole girl. I have been torn on repainting same color she was born with..or changing it up a bit. Gray Code 80 I believe was the original color. Not a bad color.....I've seen some nice Gray Amazon's on the net, and it would be sticking to it's originality. Personally I would like to kick it up a notch and go alittle darker more like a charcoal gray. Would this go against the grain of the sacred Amazon owners out there. Possibly affecting its value at some point down the road, I'm sure the volvo gray would be nice, its just that I've had this primer gray on for too long and think its gonna look like a shiny primer paint job! Any suggestions appreciated!!! Every time I take this car out on a short jaunt it catches eyes and turns heads like people are trying their best to figure this car out!!! Its a fun car!! Myself I had never seen anything like it before either!!!
