ECU Install 700

This might be a dumb question but where is the ECU and how hard is it to change?

Car is a 1990 740 Turbo

I've got the infamous 0280000563 part number and from what I've been reading it should work with a 937 replacement and I found one on eBay for relatively cheap.

The dealer confirmed it was bad by swapping it with a non-turbo ecu and fired up. I think he's going to charge me a couple hours of labor to install it, so I might have it towed (free AAA towing.) back to my house and continue to work on it.
