Front seat replacement/conversion ideas 200 1986

I was sitting in a late '90's early '00 Mercedes C230 recently at the junkyard and was amazed how comfortable and supportive the seats were. I measured the width of the seat track and found to be almost exact to that of my '86 240 sedan. Has anyone ever done a seat conversion/modification with another vehicle's seat?

Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions on this project.
