Stuck Power Window Motor

My driver side window motor keeps getting stuck in the fully up position.

Everything is electrically fine and mechanically, everything is straight and well greased.

It's happened twice and both times the fix has been to whack the motor with a hammer while holding the switch down. The thing is, I'm getting a little tired of taking apart the door panel.

Any ideas on getting electric motors unstuck?
