OBD I code 2-4-1 EGR 700

Is it possible that cleaning that pipe of carbon build would improve fuel economy? Or most likely just help with idle?

I am trying to improve my fuel economy. I had blew a head gasket recently. I did that job and put in new gaskets plus a bunch of other new parts.

I was reading online that if you get coolant into the motor you will want to change your 02 sensor. So, I have one of those too. Shortly after I figured out you can test the O2 sensor with a multimeter to see if it is functioning correctly.

Is there any in between on these 02 sensors or is it either working or not?
