NOT SURE IF THIS IS CORRECT GROUP BUT OLDER FRIEND IS LOOKING FOR VOLVO WAGON - STILL - AND I THOUGHT 740 PROBABLY BEST DEAL BUT LOCAL CRAIGS L. HAS HI MILEAGE 1996 850 TURBO, 5 CYL. W/BROKEN REAR WINDOW, SAYS RUNS WELL, ETC. $1800. I ASSUME AT BUT NOT SURE. IS THIS A GOOD ENGINE? IS THIS OLD ENOUGH TO BE SIMILAR TO MORE RELIABLE VOLVOS AND NOT LIKE THE NEWER MITSUBISHI RELATED UNITS WITH ELABORATE ELECTRONICS? COMMENTS? HE CAN DO SOME ROUTINE WORK LIKE BRAKES, WOULD LIKE 20 MPG IN CITY EASY DRIVER IS THIS POSSIBLE? THANKS!
