OBD I code 2-4-1 EGR 700

Heh heh, yeah I'm a noob too. Everything I know came from here. Yes you can undo the pipe at the EGR valve under the intake and it's not even really that hard to get to. Might as well service the EGR valve too while you're in there, just so it's done. You only have to undo 2 more flare nuts to pull it out. When I did my pipe, I spraypainted it with this black hi-temp paint, and it seems to be holding up. Even though you never really see that pipe, I think it looks a bit better and slows down the rusting.
